The purpose of the Mothers' Club of Grosse Pointe South High School is to enrich the lives of the members of the Grosse Pointe South community both educationally and socially. The Mothers' Club started in 1929, the same year that the "High" (Grosse Pointe High School) opened its doors. Several mothers of the Grosse Pointe students formed "Card Parties" where they collected money for various school enrichment activities. Times have changed and so has the Mothers' Club. Mothers and fathers are now members and we support the school by contributing money to Scholarships, Enrichment and Preservation efforts. Volunteers from the Mothers' Club help the school in everything from registration to graduation. To review the Mothers' Club Bylaws, click Bylaws.

All parents are invited to become members. The
$20 dues help us meet the cost of the Student Directory, School Calendar and HIGH POINTES, our
monthly newsletter. All dues-paying members receive a copy of the Directory and monthly HIGH POINTES,
and are eligible to vote at Membership meeting.
