As you look forward to participating in fall sports remember to have your
gold card and physical form filled out and approved in the Athletic
Office prior to the first day of try outs. You can pick up the cards in
the athletic office. Mrs. Schmidt will be working through the summer to
approve and stamp your gold card. South is offering the Sports
Physical this year on Wednesday, August 6th. Check the South
Athletic website this summer for details.

College Visits - All
visits are held in the CRC located inside the Library, unless indicated
differently. If you will be attending a visit, get a pass from
the Counseling Center before the first bell on the day of the visit,
and report to the CRC at the beginning of the class period. All visits
are listed on the CRC website (click
CRC).

Student Parking
S-Lot - Parking is by permit only. Students must park in the
assigned numbered slot.
J-Lot - Students are to park within the lined areas - not 2 in a
space.
Lunch areas: Students are only allowed on the 1st
floor during 1st lunch; and the 2nd and 3rd
floors during 2nd lunch. The floors engaged in
classroom instruction are not to be disturbed by walking and talking in
the hallways, or going to your lockers. Please use the stairwells
closest to the Cafeteria or Boy’s Gym.
Remember that there is to be no eating on the school floors in any
building; eating is allowed only in the Cafeteria and the Boy’s Gym.
South buildings will be
closed at 4:00pm each day unless there is a specific activity going
on in the Auditorium or another area of Main Building. Access for
athletes will be limited to the doors near the gyms and locker rooms. Students will be able to exit, but will
not allowed to re-enter the building after 4:00pm. Thank you for your
